The three usual places: rolling hills at highway speed, where it cycles 6th, 5th, 6th, 5th over and over; light throttle around town, where it upshifts early and then lurches down to respond; and towing, where conservative shift logic gets even more conservative under load.
Larger tires, a lift, armor, racks, recovery gear, a loaded bed. All of it makes the truck effectively taller-geared and heavier, and the factory shift logic hunts even more as a result. If the hunting got worse after a build, this is why, and it is not evidence that the build hurt the transmission.
